As you study Romans 8:1-4 this week, you may want to experiment with one of the Bible study reference tools listed on our website under the Helpful Study Links toolbar.
The site is called the Linked Word Project. If you click here, the link will take you to the site that is set up for this week’s passage. This uses the King James Version as the English translation. However, the strength of the site is that each English word is linked to a definition of the word as it appears in the original languages used to write the Bible.
For instance, if you click here, you’ll see the King James text for Romans 8:1-4. Once you set up the page to show the passage you want to study, then simply click on the word you want to investigate further. For example, if you click on the words, “who walk” in verse 4, you’ll see that a fuller meaning of the phrase is not simply the idea of walking, but has more to do with how you conduct you life.
Use this site to investigate all the words or phrases that you want to explore at a deeper level, especially those that you don’t fully understand or view as being significant to your understanding of the passage.
